Firstly I would like to say what a Brilliant group this is. There isn't many groups for Black & White Photographers and looking at the quality of work on this website we are very lucky indeed. But one thing I feel is lacking within it is more profile space for members. When compiling our profiles I think it would be far more interesting if there were more detail about other members. Their favourite photographic interests, Exhibitions they may have had, what part of their country they live in, The equipment they use etc. This would help other members build a picture of the person whose images they are viewing. I don't feel this is infringing on anyone's privacy, simply helping others form a better insight into that particular photographer/artist. Also when we are uploading images could there not be a bit more space it the “Details” section. I find it difficult to give information about my images with so few words, Maybe you could set a limit of maybe 250 letters for this section. Kevin. |
